Since beginning as a contractor in the late 1980’s, Dave Tourjé has become more than just a successful business owner, but what can only be described as an entire brand in his own right. Now a seasoned veteran of the construction business, with vast contributions in the fields of art, film, music and entertainment, Tourjé is at the helm of rapidly growing empire of aesthetics and entrepreneurialism that all began with a company called Alpha Structural.
“The excitement of installing a radical foundation repair never gets old… The danger, hazard and skillset of performing the foundation work I do has held my interest even to this day.” describes Dave.
In April of 1993, Alpha Structural was officially incorporated. Less than a year later, following the Northridge Earthquake of 1992, Alpha Structural became the premiere structural repair firm of Southern California in the literal rebuilding of Los Angeles County, from the bottom up.
Alpha Structural has managed to maintain this position and in 2015, with laws passed by the City of Los Angeles stemming from the upgrades they themselves had pioneered to strengthen buildings after the Northridge Earthquake, Alpha Structural continued with unprecedented expansion. In 2018, Alpha Structural joined the Inc. 5,000 list of fastest growing businesses in the United States at #1.987 and was named the fastest growing construction firm in Los Angeles by the LA Business Journal in 2019.
With Alpha Structural now present across Los Angeles County and expanding into the likes of Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura/Santa Barbara, Dave is looking forward to a continued abundance of new plans and expansion. From the retrofitting of skyscrapers, to the continued flood of inspiration Alpha has lent to the numerous other fields and activities that embody Dave Tourjé, things can only continue to grow upwards and outwards.
Dave describes that the primary impression he hopes to leave on any client or potential client, is that at Alpha “They know what they are doing.” and thus, the need to become involved becomes undeniable.
It quickly becomes clear, that not only does this phrase apply aptly to Alpha, but also, very much so, to Dave Tourjé.
